Velo Reno opened its doors in 1991 and quickly established itself as the high performance bike shop in the Reno/Tahoe area. 29 years later we continue this tradition with customers traveling from Mammoth Lakes, Susanville, Truckee, South Lake Tahoe and even venturing over Donner Summit from Sacramento and the Bay Area to visit our shop.
We have worked with many Pro cyclists including Tour de France podium finishers, Pro Tour Riders, Ironman Winners, World Champions, and National Champions. We also support local cycling teams and clubs to make sure that citizen racers and club riders get the best performance from their bikes.
We offer the best from Trek, BMC, Argon 18, and Salsa. We are an authorized service center for both Campagnolo and Mavic. We also offer professional fit and biomechanical analysis services to all athletes. Our staff has a combined 50 years of mechanical experience and all of our employees ride daily.
I've had a few of my bikes serviced here and they are always friendly and willing to help. I also feel like they go the extra mile and aren't trying to sell you on anything you don't need.
We have all of our bikes serviced here, have bought parts and whole bikes at this shop, and we are continually grateful for their friendly staff. They have a great inventory, and its convenient location.
Velo Reno has been a long time supporter and promoter of the Reno-Tahoe cycling community and aspires to seeing growth in youth cycling. Velo Reno has been an original supporter for the Reno Development Team by providing kids with opportunities to ride and race bikes without the burdened of high costs.
Velo Reno shop owner Rich Paul is responsible for hosting over 10 training races and bike clinics to help developed young riders technical skills.
